Born in a small German town - known only as the birthplace of an agent with the code number ‘007’ - Dietmar’s unwavering desire to boldly go where no one has gone before, dates back to early childhood explorations of neighboring cities with roads to nowhere.

At the tender age of 11, Dietmar encountered the power of imagery. After a successful mountain climb, he was asked to take a ‘Kodak Moment’ for the family album and, indeed, Dietmar delivered a stunning visual interpretation that neither was talked about nor seen afterwards.

Inspired by this new found freedom of creative expression, he spent his formative years writing articles for the local newspaper and magazine about world events, immersing into competitive Volleyball and studying the art of communications before settling on the visual arts.

Empire State of Mind. While studying a semester abroad, Dietmar developed a love affair with a city so nice, they had to name it twice but it wasn’t until he had lived in ‘The City Of Light’ that he was ready to finally call ‘The City That Never Sleeps’ home....
